At Galeonyachts.us, we are committed to protecting and preserving your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how Galeonyachts.us (together, “Galeonyachts.us,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, or discloses personal information we receive through our website, together with any related online or offline services provided by Galeonyachts.us (collectively, the “Services”). This policy also describes your choices about the collection and use of your information.

You have the right to opt out of data collection. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before you start to use our Services, to both understand the Services and to exercise your right to opt out of data collection. By using our website or other Services, you agree to be bound and abide by our posted terms and this Privacy Policy. Galeonyachts.us.com uses "cookies," which are small text files and a commonly used web technology that allow websites to store and retrieve certain information on a user’s system, as well as track online activities associated with our site. We, together with the vendors we use, may collect information about your use of our website, mobile app, and related services by automated means, including, but not limited to, cookies, pixels, and other similar technologies.   • Text messages: You have the right to choose who you receive texts from. Galeonyachts.us strives to make it easy to sign up to receive texts as well as opt out of text messages.   • You may request that we correct your personal information if it is inaccurate or delete your personal information. Note that deletion requests are subject to a number of limitations, for example, we may keep personal information as permitted by law, such as for tax or other record keeping purposes, to maintain an active account, to process transactions and facilitate customer requests, and for other internal business purposes consistent with the terms under which it was collected.

You have the right in certain states to opt out of (i) any selling or sharing of your personal information to a third party (excluding service providers or other exceptions permitted by law); and (ii) any third-party targeted advertising (i.e., cross-context behavioral advertising).

You may authorize another person (your "Agent") to submit a request on your behalf the same way. Shortly after you (or your Agent) submit a request, we will contact you (usually via email) with instructions on how to verify the submitted request before we fulfill it. Please be advised that these requests are unrelated to an opt-out of email marketing communications, which can be done as provided in Section 6 above.

Please be advised that we will fulfill requests in our reasonable discretion or as otherwise required by applicable law. Likewise, we will aim to complete such requests as soon as reasonably practicable and consistent with any applicable law. We do not use customers’ sensitive personal information (such as precise geo-location or financial information) except for the purposes it was collected and as otherwise permitted by law. California residents: Certain rights under California privacy laws apply to all individuals (not just retail customers), including job applicants, current and former employees, contractors and business partners. Nevada residents: We do not sell personal information as defined by Nevada law (Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 603A, Section 1.6). You can submit a request to us regarding the sale of such information by contacting us

8. International Notice

Our services (such as our website) are controlled and operated by us from the United States (“US”), although we do have affiliates operating in other jurisdictions. In the event we receive personal information from a foreign jurisdiction under a contractual relationship, the contract will typically specify the privacy and security requirements and governing laws with respect to such information. In all other instances, this section addresses individuals residing outside of the US. a. Legitimate Bases for Processing

Where required by law, all processing of personal information is justified by a legally recognized basis for processing. In the majority of cases, processing will be justified on one or more of the following bases for processing: (i) The processing is necessary to perform a contract with you (such as if you using Services or making a donation/other transaction); (ii) The processing is necessary for us to comply with a relevant legal obligation, such as keeping accounting records; (iii) The processing is in our legitimate interests, which are not overridden by your interests and fundamental rights.
