Jim Radzicki and his wife Sherri almost gave up on finding the boat of their dreams. Residing on the west coast of the United States, slip access is at a premium, especially for larger boats. So, with this limitation in mind, the Radzickis set out to find a boat that met their criteria and boating lifestyle.
Last year, Jim saw the brand’s 22-minute walkthrough video and walked away impressed with the boat’s fit and finish, including the luxury features—all packed into a 32-foot outboard.
Without hesitation, Jim phoned up MarineMax, Galeon’s official US dealer, and placed a down payment. The Radzickis had no plans to waste another moment of time searching. They knew they had found their dream boat in the Galeon 325 GTO.
The pandemic and global supply chain challenges slowed the production a bit, but after 10 months of waiting, their new 'baby' was loaded onto a cargo ship in Gdansk, Poland, to make its way for delivery to the East Coast of the United States. It arrived on New Year's Eve—what a way to ring in the New Year!
As a chief technology officer, Jim wanted a name that represented the amazing technology and innovation that exists in the 325 GTO, and has aptly christened their boat WETAVERSE—inspired by "Metaverse,” a technical alternate universe for humanity to escape. They decided this name was perfect, as the 325 GTO will be their water-based escape from the daily grind of reality.
Plans for whale watching, coastal voyages down to Mexico, and dolphin stampedes await.
